WCHA Newsletter
Hi WCHA members,
It was good seeing many of you at the first WCHA show held
at Bonina and the second show at Moses Lake. They were
great! We, Carol and Susan, are your faithful fund Raising
Committee. We decided to have two auctions: first one at
NCHA days in Madras, June 1st – 3rd and the second one at
Moses Lake at the Finals Show at the end of September.
We had to start thinking of items for the Auctions about a
month ago. We asked friends, relatives and businesses. The
result is that great items are starting to be donated. But
we still need your help.
So we are asking you to also start thinking about donations
for the auctions. Businesses can get some advertising on our
web site and in the Cascade Horseman depending on the value
of what they donate. We have been impressed at how willing
people have been to donate. Think Big. . . a vacation cabin
in paradise. Think small . . . a promotional ball cap. We
like it all, as it raises money for YOU the members.

info on that.
***** We had an idea to make a basket of “Wash. Wines” to
put in the auction. If you live near a winery would you ask
if they would donate or sell, at a very discounted price, a
bottle of wine and in return we would include in the basket
their promotional info.
***** Also we have been considering having a raffle for a
quality item that would run all season. The drawing would be
held at the Final’s show. Do you have any suggestions of
what to raffle?
***** Any other fund raising suggestions? We are open to
ideas.
***** THINKING OF YOU cards If you hear of someone who is
having an “eventful experience” . . . good or not so good
please let us know so we can send them a card from WCHA.
